The BSEAP is also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. The AP Board was formed in 1953 and its functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Education (DOE), Andhra Pradesh. This board is responsible for conduction the SSC/ OSSC Public Examination as well as a number of minor exams. DOE’s office conducts SSC/OSSC examinations twice in a year.
